The most important item is the Caviar, which was giving everything an overwhelming amount of crit, along with a few skills. The Mouse Trap and Instant Noodles were going off (and therefore critting) every 2 seconds, which not only charges the massive cleaver by four seconds collectively, but also gives all burn items an additional 24 burn at once. The Black Peppers were there for a bit of additional speed, plus they were great for stacking all the burn buffs, and were critting as well. The result is that Massive Cleaver very nearly loops (when it crits, it also charges itself two seconds).
