This Patch is all about the new Character, Jules, but there is much more news! (Source)

DUPLICATE HANDLING

  • Existing Duplicates on all accounts have been converted to Gems, and new Cosmetics found in Chests that are duplicates will also be converted to Gems at the following rates:

    • Bronze: 12

    • Silver: 25

    • Gold: 125

    • Diamond: 500

    • Legendary: 1250

  • We are keeping a record of converted duplicates for future reference

STORE CHANGES

  • The Store no longer auto-refreshes on purchase

  • Silver items are now available in the Store at 100 Gems

  • Store Prices:

    • Silver: 100 Gems

    • Gold: 500 Gems

    • Diamond: 2000 Gems

    • Legendary: 5000 Gems

PRIZE PASS

  • Monthly Prize Pass updates are resuming

  • Prize Passes will have cosmetics at Level 20 and 40

  • Prize Pass will reset with each monthly Season

COSMETIC CHEST

  • Content from the previous Prize Pass has been added to the Cosmetic Chest

  • The following new cosmetics are added directly to the Chest

    • Eshalak Cafe (Jules’ Board)

    • Chef’s Choice (Jules’ Album)

    • Luxuriant (Carpet)

    • Chef’s Table (Card Back)

    • Virtuoso Jules (Skin)

  • 30 new item skins have been added to the Chest

    • These are all Jules items

  • Normal Mode now gives 1/2/3 Chests (instead of 2/4/6)

RANK RESET

  • Soft Reset is now implemented:

    • Current Legendary and Diamond players will be reset to Gold 5

    • Current Gold players will be reset to Silver 5

    • Current Bronze and Silver players will be reset to Bronze

GENERAL CHANGES

  • Tooltips

    • Corrected a number of systemic tooltip, issues showing incorrect values being upgraded

    • Removed “non-Legendary” from transform tooltips now that it’s clarified in the Transform Legend

  • Skill Assignments

    • Made several changes to the skills available to each hero to better reflect core identities

  • “With an item” triggers

    • Most “with an item” clauses in items removed so they work with Skills

    • Previously, this exception was inconsistently applied to some items only, this makes them all work the same way

    • Generally, Skill outputs will be more limited going forward

  • Doubling Effects

    • Corrected a number of active doubling effects which would retroactively also double new buffs (such as Atlas Stone and LavaRoller)

  • Optimization

    • Optimized several visual areas to improve performance, including cases with high Max Health values

  • Resume Issues

    • Corrected an issue with Quest items not retaining buffs when resuming a run

    • Corrected an issue with temporary buffs not retaining when resuming a run

  • Value Gain

    • Increased the trigger priority of value gain effects in combat to resolve some inconsistent ordering issues when certain item combinations were present

ENCOUNTER CHANGES

  • Hero Merchants

    • Now has rerolls for 8 Gold but no longer offers enchanted items

  • Aerodrome

    • Now spawns on Day 5+ (from 3+)

    • No longer spawns fights (except hidden ones)

      • Corrected an issue where Treasure Chest here was always the Mimic

  • D’flek

    • Can now spawn for Stelle

  • Docks

    • Corrected an issue where these options would only spawn items that start at Bronze-tier

  • Mountain Pass

    • Improved several of the non-combat outcomes

  • Mysterious Portal

    • Now gives 0 XP by default

    • No longer spawns fights (except hidden ones)

  • Pip

    • Now offers 4 skill options along with 2 Gold

  • Racetrack

    • No longer spawns for Mak

  • Regenald

    • Can now spawn Health related skills also

  • The Antiquarian

    • No longer spawns on Stelle and Jules

  • The Tester

    • Previously, if you were on Vanessa using a Pyg item, it would charge non-Pyg items and not actually care you are playing Vanessa at all

  • Poison Tyrant

    • When you Poison, gain [–/–/2/4] Regen for the fight. (from When you Poison, gain [2/4/6/8] Regen for the fight)

  • Relax Bro

    • When you use a small item, gain [–/–/2/4] Regen for the fight. (from When you use a small item, gain [1/2/3/4] Regen for the fight)

  • Retaliatory Toxins

    • The first [5/10] times your enemy uses an item, Poison 5. (from When an enemy uses an item, Poison [1/2])

  • Shatter

    • Starts at Gold

  • Small Refresh

    • The first [3/6/9/12] times you use a Small item each fight, Heal 50. (from When you use a small item, Heal [5/10/15/20])

  • Snowstorm

    • Damage scaling to 10/20/30/40 (was 20/40/60/80)

  • Tall Buildings

    • The first [–/–/5/10] times you use a Property each fight, Haste items adjacent to it for 1 second. (When you use a Property, Haste items adjacent to it for [1/2] second(s))

  • The One Potion

    • Now only grants +Ammo to items with Ammo

  • Thirsty

    • The first [–/4/8/12] times you use a Potion each fight, gain 10 Regen for the fight. (from The first 5/10 times you use a Potion each fight, gain 20 Regen for the fight)

  • Time to Tinker

    • The first [3/6/9/12] times you Haste each fight, Shield 50. (from When you Haste, Shield [10/20/30/40])

  • Tools of the Trade

    • The first [–/–/5/10] times you use a Tool each fight, Haste a Tool for 1 second. (from When you use a tool, Haste a Tool for 1 second”)

  • Toxic Friendship
