In the Bazaar there are many Keywords, such as Poison, Heal, Armor or Burn.
In this article we explain how Burn works, what counters there are and how to calculate how much damage burn does.

How does Burn work?
Burn is a damage-over-time mechanic. This is how it works:
- How often: Burn triggers twice per second
- Damage Stacking: Burn damage can stack, meaning multiple Burn effects can apply simultaneously to increase the total damage output. Each application adds to the overall Burn damage.
- Duration: Burn goes down by one each use. That means that a Burn of 10 would deal a total of 45 Damage (10+9+…+2.+1) in 5 seconds.
- Counterplay: Players can counter Burn damage by using Heal or Shield. Each heal trigger cleanses 1 Poison or Burn. Shield reduces Burn damage by 50%.
Burn example
In the table below, we’ve calculated the burn damage for 50, 100, 150, and 200 values. This clearly shows how burn scales and impacts opponents over time.
