Got the Piggles Protector on day 1 and had an Obsidian Herilooms as my level 2 enchanted item, and was already thinking of going this kind of direction. Had a rocky time in the mid-game until the right pieces came together (I had to use a Ganjo as my only scaling item for way too long and it was not working out), but once they did, it kicked ass. Helps that the gold loot generator skill gave me several cooldown reduction items and I lucked into Greenheart Guardian’s skill and upgraded it to Diamond too, so the build was a lot faster than it would be by default. My firey Bootstraps overrode the Obsidian on the Herilooms before I could upgrade them another way sadly, but I was able to upgrade the 28-Hour Fitness before its Heavy enchant was lost the same way, so it kept slowing anyone trying to batter my shields down. And the deadly enchant on the Spiky Shield was just some last-day dumb luck, otherwise it would be flaming too.
